Cafe Momentum and Sow Project Dinner
A seat at this table changes lives.
Edna Lewis believed the best meals are the ones that bring people together. On July 17, we're setting that table in Atlanta.
The Revival Dinner is a family-style fundraiser co-presented with The Sow Project, inspired by the life and legacy of the culinary icon whose cooking defined Southern food as we know it. Café Momentum's Chad Houser and the Sow Project's Ben Vaughn, both founders and chefs, designed the menu together, drawing from Lewis' celebrated cookbook "The Taste of Country Cooking."
But this dinner is about more than the food.
Café Momentum Atlanta interns and youth from the Sow Project will work together that evening, front- and back-of-house, alongside Chefs Chad and Ben. The young people cooking and serving your meal are building careers in real time. Every ticket directly supports workforce development and culinary training for justice-involved youth in Georgia.
Your seat is part of their story.
