The Sow Project Receives Donation from The Kroger Family of Companies
The Sow Project, the flagship workforce development initiative of the Center for Culinary Cultivation, today announced a significant donation from The Kroger Family of Companies in support of its culinary education programs.
This sponsorship includes a $5,000 contribution toward expanding The Sow Project’s reach and deepening its impact across Memphis and Atlanta.
“We are beyond grateful for the support of Kroger” said The Sow Project Founder and CEO Ben Vaughn. “Investments like this help fuel our mission and expand what we can offer the students who walk through our doors.”
The Kroger Family of Companies demonstrates its commitment to philanthropy through its “Zero Hunger | Zero Waste” initiative, supporting strides toward ending childhood hunger and uplifting those in need.
“Supporting workforce development programs like The Sow Project aligns directly with our commitment to helping the communities where our customers and associates live and work,” said George Brown, Head of Communications and Public Affairs for the Kroger Delta Division. “We are proud to play a role in investing in this program and the futures of the individuals it serves.”
